Geeks and Fellow Travellers,
A German colleague who is blind was having trouble playing some games because he didn't know what all of the keys on his keyboard did.
I had some "spare code parts" laying around, so I built this program, DarkKeyboard that speaks each key as you press that key.
DarkKeyboard intercepts your keystrokes so that they do absolutely nothing except speak to you.
DarkKeyboard self-voices. It’s installation program works with JAWS.
DarkKeyboard works on Windows computers available since 2000, including Vista.
And DarkKeyboard is FREE, no registration, no spyware. It was just fun to do.
Anyway, I put it up on our company's Web site (one of the big advantages of being a small company.)
To get DarkKeyboard, go to www.7128.com.
I'll post this on a couple of other Zone boards, too.
